Christoph Korn for introduced me to the universe of composition in sound!
"Born in 1965. Composition, Guitar, Live Electronic Music Christoph Korn studied Political Science, Philosophy and Paedagogics in Frankfurt upon Main. During the 1980s he did political work in autonomous-anarchistical contexts. In 1988/89, social and trade unionist activities with street kids in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Acre. Since the early 1990s start of artistic work, during the recent years dealing above all with LANGUAGE (archive, representation, history, discourse, sound). Christoph Korn works in and with diverse artistic forms of expression: performance, electronic music theatre, radio play, installation, web project, film music, texts. With his conceptual works and as a guitarist and electronic musician, Christoph Korn was a guest at numerous international festivals for contemporary music and media art. He is a lecturer for Improvisation and Aesthetics at the University of Applied Sciences, Frankfurt. Together with Oliver Augst and Rüdiger Carl, Christoph Korn is a curator of the "pol Festival", Künstlerhaus Mousonturm/Frankfurt."
